Lovely Lamb!

This Lovely Little Lamb was fun to create! It took some problem solving to create! Which is fun and frustrating all at the same time! Haha! This little one loves all things energetic! Enjoy!

Materials-

1. Worsted weight yarn

2. White and grey

3. Hook size 3mm (if you only have lettered hooks I’d go with C)

4. 6mm Safety Eyes, or embroidered

5. Stitch Marker

6. PolyFill

7. Tapestry Needle

8. Scissors

9. Sewing Pins

Abbreviations-

1. Rd(s)- Round(s)

2. MR- Magic Ring

3. Sc- Single Crochet

4. Bo- Bobble

5. Yo, insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over, pull through two. Repeat 4 times. Yo and pull through all loops.

6. Dec Bo- Decrease Bobble

7. The first 2 yo and insert are in one st and the next are in the next st.

8. St(s)- Slip Stitch(s)

9. Inc- Increase

10. Dec- Invisible Decrease

11. In front loops only pick up the next two loops, yarn over and pull through twice.

12. FO- Fasten Off

Notes-

1. Magic Ring Alternative- chain 2 and single crochet in the second chain from the hook.

2. This will be crocheted in the round.

3. If not specified or in () repeat to the end of the round.

4. Stuff as you go.

Body-

Rd 1: sc 6 in MR

Rd 2: bo, inc

Rd 3: bo, inc

Rd 4: bo, inc

Rd 5-6: bo, sc (2 rounds)

Rd 7: dec bo, sc

Rd 8: dec bo, sc

Rd 9: dec bo, sc

FO and leave a tail for sewing. Slip needle through the FLO to close off and sew in the ends.

Head-

Start with gray

Rd 1: sc 5 in MR

Rd 2: inc

Rd 3: sc, inc

Rd 4: sc, inc, sc Switch to white

Rd 5: bo, sc Insert eyes between rds 3 and 4, about 5 sts apart.

Rd 6: dec bo, sc

Rd 7: dec bo, sc

Rd 8: dec bo, sc

FO and leave a tail for sewing. Slip needle through the FLO to close off and sew the head to the body. Sew in the ends.

Legs – (make 4)

Rd 1: sc 4 in MR

Rd 2-31; sc 4 (4) (2 rounds)

FO and leave a tail for sewing. Slip needle through the FLO to close off and sew to the body evenly apart. Sew in the ends.

Ears- (make 2)

Sc 2, ch 2, sc 2 in MR

FO and leave a tail for sewing. Slip needle through the FLO to close off and sew to either side of the head behind the eyes. Sew in the ends.

Tail-

Rd 1: sc 5 in MR

Rd 2: starting in 2 sc from hook sc 4

FO and leave a tail for sewing. Slip needle through the FLO to close off and sew sew to the body. Sew in the ends.
