Materials-
Worsted weight yarn
Red, green, white, and black thread
Hook size 3.5mm (E)
6mm Safety Eyes, or an alternative form of eyes
Stitch Marker
PolyFill
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Sewing Pins
Abbreviations-
Rd(s)- Round(s)
MR- Magic Ring
Sl st- Slip Stitch
Ch- Chain
Sc- Single Crochet
St(s)- Slip Stitch(s)
Inc- Increase
Dec- Invisible Decrease
In front loops only pick up the next two loops, yarn over and pull through twice.
FO- Fasten Off
Notes-
Magic Ring Alternative is you can chain 2 and single crochet in the second chain from the hook.
This will be crocheted in the round, no slip stitch and chain.
If not specified or in () repeat to the end of the round.
Stuff as you go.
Strawberry-
Start with red
Rd 1: sc 4 in MR
Rd 2: inc (8)
Rd 3: sc around (8)
Rd 4: sc, inc (12)
Rd 5: sc around (12)
Rd 6: sc, inc, sc (16)
Rd 7: sc around (16)
Rd 8: sc 3, inc (20)
Rd 9-10: sc around (20) insert eyes between rd 9 and 10, 5 sts apart.
Rd 11: sc 3, dec (16)
Rd 12: sc, dec, sc (12)
Rd 13: sc, dec (8)
Rd 14: dec (4)
FO and close the hole through the FLO, sew in end.
With green
6 sc in MR, sl st, (ch 4, sc in 2 ch from hook, sc 2, sl st in next st on ring)x5 or 6 if no short piece
I made one of the arms just 3 ch that went over the face, so it wouldn’t cover the mouth.
FO and sew the circle to the top of the strawberry. Sew white to make the seeds.
